You don't know what you're talking about... 0.7 was a huge compatability release, 0.8 wasn't, but that doesn't mean 0.9 won't be. In fact I even said that was my primary focus for it. Furthermore, the compatability in 0.8 is over twice as high as that in 0.5, so unless you've actually tested a significant number of games don't talk about things like that. You just sound bitter because your favorite games aren't working yet.

It's so annoying, that people think that working on compatability is on the same level as adding something like savestates. It's not going in and writing new features that a game uses. It's DEBUGGING, and unless you've ever debugged something that you can't modify, at the assembly level, to find where it goes wrong out of many millions of instructions.. you can't speak about it. I've been buried in this now.. that aside, a lot of games that "don't work" are because the users can't actually get the right BIOS.

And don't question RunawayPrisoner, he's my #1 beta tester.

Nah, that's alright. Well, I know that because I'm his beta tester and rest assured that a lot of games have been fixed for the next beta release. Also, please excuse the updates, I just have to play through a bunch of likely-to-crash games from the very beginning to verify their stability and so, I may not have time to update. Please be patient, okay? I'm updating the front page per request. Sorry for any conveniences. ^^;

Also, please don't rush/flame/insult/complain/ask/bother/etc ******** right now. He's been working non-stop ever since the release build and more games are running even more stable and faster now. And in case you guys are way too concerned, I'll just let you guys know that the Megaman Battle Network series seem like they're pretty much fully playable now (with save fixes, of course!) and Megaman Zero 4 will now let you save, also. Asterix and Obelix XXL is also running at full speed. I must say that those are a lot of works so... please... be patient, ok? ^^

ALSO, I know some of you will go and defend Exo or say something else to mock him or something... neh... how about keeping it to yourself now and let peace be here? (:

thats because the right bios is impossible to find, and the pc emulators dont need it so I dont see why this has to have a certain bios no one has?

It's not impossible to find, and the PC emulators have been in development for years. If I was emulating the BIOS that'd even be more to worry about in terms of compatability right now.

I just foun an error in yoshis tipsy turvy after a number of levels it gives a blue screen just before a level ends.

bonecusher dont DISS ******** he working hard to make a great gba for the psp it take time to programing. if you dont like it. LEARN how to programming in C with the Psp kit and learn ******** source code.

Then you have 2 different versions on your stick. Quite simple actually, it's logical you can't have 2 of the same named folders in 1 directory.

To the person who said that pc emu's don't need the bios. Well if you have the bios put it in the Virtual Boy Advance folder. Open VBA go to options>emulator>use bios file. the options>emulator>select bios fiel. Select the bios file that you put in there and be amazed at how vba doesn't ever slow down anymore. So yeah the bios file is a good thing. And keep up the amazing work exo we love you man.

It's... guh... not that you have to ILLEGALLY "look for" that BIOS but you can just simply LEGALLY rip it off your GBA or GBA SP if you have one... it is also illegal to have one if you don't have a GBA or GBA SP. ):
Another thing, I know this right BIOS and wrong BIOS thing is annoying but... you're gonna have to duel with it somehow. When compatibility for the current beta goes any higher, I'll see if ******** wants to do HLE for BIOS so you don't need it anymore.

Note: For those that don't know what the heck I was talking about, HLE = High Level Emulation. It means that instead of just emulating the hardware, the emulator will also emulate the software (In this case, it's a BIOS. In other cases like the N64 emulator, it's a bootstrap.) that is built into the ROM of the system if it has any ROM at all, that is. HLE does not only terminate the need of a BIOS but it may also speed things up significantly. Downside: it's hard and it takes a whole lot of time.

I'm curious about the legallity if you don't own a gba or gba-sp (i used to own both), but you own a DS Lite and a gameboy player.

It may still be illegal. I don't know. I myself have a GBA SP to test some games on (comparing) though.

That happened to me too. I tried everything but nothing, so I gave up.

Weird. Using the pacman bios, I can't seem to roll in Minish Cap.

once again, use the genuine gba bios by googling "emuparadise gba bios" and the first link will get you to the page of the gba bios (srry i can't give you the link of that page b/c it's not allowed). by the way, i tried the pacman bios and i had the same problem. :)

You can roll only with the bad/beta/wrong BIOS. You can't do so with the right BIOS. And er... *coughs* Emuparadise's BIOS is the bad one.

anyone else get the, Gameboy Advance Logo boot up when they try Bleach? doesn't seem to work with either bios.

i changed it to 2, and it gave me an error when i loaded it.

Maybe you mixed folders up. your gbSP1 might actually be for gbSP2 and vice versa.

Take out both folders and put them back in

Lol, that is the only good bios i could find on the internet. I agree somewhat that this bios may be a "bad one". But, i just got my genuine bios of my gameboy sp. So, i agree that this bios may be a "bad one", but hey, this is the internet and there's alot of stuff you can't trust (except this site).

Basil Zero: Actually... just create two distinctive folders and put two different eboots in them. It doesn't matter how you name the folder. Also, remember which version of gpsp you copy to the mem stick first as... it'll probably be the lower one in your mem stick homebrew list. (:
