I just put Phantasy Star 4 on my psp, but whenever I try to load it, the message "Developed for use only with NTSC Genesis Systems" comes up, and then it doesn't go any further. I'm currently using PSPGenesis v0.16. Does anybody have any idea what I'm doing wrong?

If you have tried all the roms from all the different regions....it must be an emulator problem. Write the author of the emulator. Maybe he can figure out why its not working....just make sure other roms work....your emulator might be corrupted instead of the roms....which seems to make more sense to me!

As a side note I usualy find that there is one best rom for each game. Final lap twin for tg-16 has about 10 different dumps an and yet only one works.
AND Sometimes it is not the BEST dump as maked by the common symbols for roms.(See the sticky for rom symbols) |

At the emulator main menu screen, switch region from which the emulator is using from "Auto" to "USA," as previously mentioned. In the case of Phantasy Star 4, trust me, that is the only problem.
However, auto save sram does not work with Phantasy Star 4. The newest PSP Genesis release, verison .16 I believe, allows for one non-sram save slot. This is the only way in which Phantasy Star 4 is actually playable. |
