Yeah i tried this T-Eng supposed translated version, and also tried using an ips file to patch the japanese version but i don't think it works? has anyone got a working english version? the names are messed up and i get messed words (i.e. Nwgme, instead of New Game, and i only let the game run a little into the ingame txt but it seems garbled there to, IS there an actual working version? or are my versions correct and i should just try to see the ingame txt a little longer.
-edit- well i went longer into the game the txt seems like its cut off, i.e. each letter seems to be halved and is insanly garbled and illegible -_-' |

No- you patched everything right and have the right file etc--
the way you can check this is to grab the pc version of snes9x and load up that rom-- english translation is perfect. I believe it's an incompatibility with the patched rom that the current PSP SNES emu's can't handle yet. You might want to try the "official" snes9x emu by bifuteki- it might have the translation patch support for mana2. hope that helps-- me- not playing it until it's lookin' sharp. |

let me know if the "official" emu does it any justice-- while it may or may not display the translated text correctly, if it's running at super choppy FPS then i'll just wait-- been wanting to play that one myself.

While I can't provide a link to the rom, I can provide you with a link to the IPS patch I used for the translation: http://www.zophar.net/newtrans/downl...s/sd3en101.zip
Hope this helps all of you that are unable to get the text working in the emulators. If not, I suggest looking for a new\clean version of SD3 and also using the uo_snes9x Y28 emu. |
