Strange problem with gpSP
I don't think I've ever seen this before in any emulator. I've been playing Shining Force for a while and it works just perfect, except for this one really odd error. Whenever I am in towns the program seems to set up these small invisible blocks that I cannot walk through. I figured this shouldnt be a problem and just imported my save file to VisualBoy to move through said blocks and continue. Now after the .8 update, my saves are unreadable by VB.
I dont really mind that the bug is in because ******** kicks ass for putting this beauty out in the first place, what I really need is a way to convert the save back to a format that my PC can read. Can anyone help me out with this?

gpSP can read VB saves but VB can't read gbSP saves cause they somehow get converted.

Exactly what gpsp converts it to is my main problem. This didn't happen with previous versions I believe because I have swapped the .sav files two or three times to fix the odd Shining Force problem.
And does anyone know what PC emu supports gpsp's savestates? They all seem to be around the 500k size but nothing I've found off hand supports them...

Savestates're generally emulator-specific.
Ooh, and a fun-fact: It appears those "invisible blocks" change position, depending on the bios. ^^;

Just SRAM patch the rom with the gbata tool. The save file thats produced with the patched rom are readable by both VBA and gpsp.

Thank you VERY VERY much Paburo and Mario Famous! I had two bios' sitting in my folder just in case, I just didn't think it was the problem. GBATA has a new use to me :) You guys rock!
