Problems With NeoGeo 1.0
Anyone else having problems running stuff properly in the new version of the NeoGeo emulator by NJ?
I cant seem to run any games while running the Uni-Bios V2.2 ( Just stays at a screen saying Work Ram Test) and I can't seem to access the Config menu, for altering Dipswitches etc?
Anyone else having similar problems?

BTW I am running 2.71 SE-A with NeoGeo Kernel Version in a 1.0 Eboot format!!

try to use universal bios 2.0 or 2.1 and have your checked compatability list to see if that version works with SE-A

What compatibility list?
The emu was only just released so I am not sure if it will be on any compatibility lists!
I have re-installed 0.2 in any case and thats seems to work ok!

Sorry to bump my own old thread, but I never did figure this out!!!

no there is a file inside the neogeo 1.0 emu directory that says rominfo.mvs . Open that file in a text editor and you will have an idea of which games run.

I'm not sure if u can run kernel vers on 2.71, oh i know it can run kernel procs but 2.71SE is having some problems with certain homebrew. What I would do is d-load the one that is 1.0 and not kernel ... install Universal Bios 1.3-2.2 to see if any work. I managed to get it working!
Start + Select brings up the Emulator Config menu!
L + R + Select brings up the hardware config menu!
The only thing that doesnt work is the Uni-Bios!!
I will cope with the normal one though!!

The Neogeo bios that I got with MAME for PC worked for me. Don't know anything about a Uni-bios.
