I have the clearly obvious , all the Mario games , the Yoshi Games , But what else would you recommend ? :shifty: Never had a SNES , so i am sort of in the dark when it comes to good games .

I am really enjoying Donkey Kong Country, it runs really close to full speed with a little tweaking, Super Metroid is always a good bet as well.

Everyone needs to play UN Squadron. That was one fun game.

DKC and KI run near perfectly, i found once on dkc 2 tho in one level the whirlwinds on the lava dissapeared even theough i played that level w/o that happening many times

Many of the Disney games were really good back then. But in most cases the Megadrive (Genesis) versions were better. But Lion King is better on SNES.

You can try Aladdin and Jungle Book too, even if the MD-versions are better.

And James Pond 2: Codename Robocod! A real classic!

i have donkey kong country 2 for my snes..So i said "ok lemme get it for the PSP"! So i do and it plays rather well. But i dont know if anyone notices or if its just a bad rom but the music is rather off. Like when selecting a level that music that goes on...it doesnt sound just as right as it did on the Super nintendo. Is this due to the fact that the emulator is in its early stages or is it a bad rom?

If you guys havent tried it already id like to suggest Street Figher Alpha 2 it runs laggy with music on but if you turn it off it works a lot better.. Very playable. ^^

Yeah, I know what you mean, there is like some screeching sound going on with the music, when you are selecting a level. I have also noticed that The Legend of Zelda The Link to the Past, also has a problem. When you are playing the game, and it is raining outside, the rain is like exta loud, compared to all the rest of the sounds, and it's also really screechy. I don't think this is a problem with the rom, probably just how the emulator works right now. I'm sure it will be resolved in the future.

STAR FOOOOOOOX!!!!! The only thing that would be better is star fox 64 when an n64 emu eventually comes out. That game is amazing, actual polygons with very little sprites... A technological wonder on the snes i tell you, i play loz or mega man then play that and it is amazing, my psp runs really slow though.

Metal Warriors (Action)

Metal Warriors plays very nicely at about 50fps@333.
Great game, kinda in the likes of Cybernator.

I notice a lot of people recommended Donkey Kong Country :wall: ... am I the only one that thinks that the DKC games are the most overated SNES titles ever? All they are to me are beautiful graphics with kiddy (read: too easy) platforming elements that never present a challenge.

As for my recommended games from most recommended on down

-Super Metroid
-Final Fantasy II (IV in Jap)
-The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
-Super Mario World
-Mario All Stars
-Contra 3
-Final Fantasy III (VI in Jap)
-Lemmings
-Chrono Trigger

I think that is a descent list of games right there. Super Metroid has always been my second favorite SNES game right short of Zelda and it feels so right on the PSP. FF2 is a classic and definitley the best Final Fantasy game in my opinion (perfect mix of story telling and actual playtime) just barely beating out FF3 (only because Final Fantasy III has a TON of reading which generally detracts from playtime on the PSP). Mario, Contra, and Lemmings have fantastic replayability value and Chrono Trigger is just icing on the cake with the other excellent RPGs.

Some other good games are:
-Super Mario RPG
-Smash TV
-Mortal Kombat
-Street Fighter
-Worms

I haven't played those games on my PSP yet so I can't rank them but I would assume they would be entertaining on the go or out of the house.

One of the best games ive played for my SNES system are "mario is missing"

Play as Marios brother Luigi in a mission to save his older brother mario in this carmen sandiego-esque game. And you thought luigis mansion was his first adventure..Your Wrong! Filled with lively music it should be quite memorable. \

Super Adventure Island 2-Awesome game i loved it. Download it its for Snes. Give it a chance. Its a Rpg/action adventure.
