i have the snes emu for ff2 it is laggy and freezes at the begging i cant even play it is it the rom is bad or the emulator is bad i have the so called best snes emu for 1.5?

might be a corrupted rom, because it works fine to me

The last few times I played FFII was on a PC with the turbo button held for extra fast game play. So when I was on the Psp I thought it was lagging, but it was acctually playing at normal speed.

FFII works perfect for me. Probably a bad rom like said before.

increase Frameskip like u would with the PC(thats what Turbo button does), or change the CPU Clock to 266 mhz

You can alwaysget gpSP 0.8 and dl Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls. :) I'm thoroughly enjoying that one right now :P.

Actually Final Fantasy II in SNES is actually Final Fantasy IV

Final Fantasy I & II's 2 is different

or u can always download Final Fantasy IV for GBA which II in SNES

Ah, yeah. Slipped my mind. I just watched the FF history featurette on the bonus dvd for FFXII too hahha. Yeah. Just download FFIV advance for GBA.

i use default settings for all games, never had to use frameskip at all

for u, if u r having a problem, just change frameskip to 1

At 0, you'll notice audio lag, at 1 you'll notice some, and 2 you'll notice none. Most games normally work best at 2fps.
