Pro Action Replay Codes FFIII

I put in some Pro Action Replay Codes for FFIII using the SNES9X Emulator. The problem is I can't get them to work. Any ideas?

Most codes aren't compatable with the SNES emulator....all codes beginning with "7E" will not work, only "original" codes will work for this emulator. My best bet is to use Game Geie codes, mostly all GG codes are compatable with the emulator.

I had no problems with Pro action, i used the codes fromGameFaqs and all the ones i've tried work fine, including the 7E codes. Just disable the codes first than enable them and your off.

On what game did you try the "7E" codes with? Every game I tried with codes that begin with 7E doesn't work, I've also read a guide that states these cdes will not work...and they don't as far as I know.

The only game I tried was FF3 because that is the one mr.sinester was having an issue with. Personally I don't use codes. I see no reason why the codes would not work for any game. Which ones are not working for you?

All of them that begins with 7E, which are "generic" codes made by s. So far this game can play mostly every code except for the codes beginning with 7E. When you input the code, whether it's a GG or RAW code, if the code results to a 7E or 7F at the begining, they wont work, I've tried them with FF3, Star Ocen, Seiken Densetsu 3, etc, I've tried at least over 100 games.

I've actually figured this out a while back, mabe lst year...so I joined Yoyofirls site to tell him. He said that the code option was still new and it's not that compatable with these new generic codes floating around. He came to this conclusion when I told him about the generic codes. The SNES TYL emu project died and the cheat option is still in the early stages, that's why the codes don't work, it lacks compatabilty right now.

...Some people may claim to luck out and get some of them to work but I sereiosly doubt that they will. ghsi.com and gamegenie.com had some compatable codes since they were original codes....gs.central.org had everything...but there code section is down and has been down for quite some time...

FFIII worked, I tried over 20 Item slot codes with FFII and they all worked. I just couldn't be veiwing the item screen when I put in the code, and I had to disable it and reenable it. I am using Snes9xTYL 0.4.2 ME if that makes any difference.

just use gamefaqs.com at the bottom of the faqs list are codes for most games.
