but i still like FF7, not because it was hyped up, but it revolutionized the FF Series, with elements that are not seen often in RPGs even now.

Only game worth getting imo is Unholy War for the ps1. Best Fighting game ever. Final Fantasy's and other rpg's will take too much space plus how would multi discs isos work?

They should work the same as they do on the Xbox. Once you get to the point where it says put disk2, it saves and you load from the disk2 file. of course you will have to rename the sav file and you trash the disk1. The file size for the rpgs will not differ much from any other game. You just use one disk at a time on your mem stick. The fact that the screen is so small for these games is another story. God knows how you will see the materia on the ground unless you know where your looking.

O I never had homebrew on xbox(halo 2 over live was better imo). Ps1 games are on 700mb disc right and every game uses all that space? I hope not since no ps1 game is worth taking up that much space or even half that on a memory stick. And the fact that you want be able the have the strategy guide with you at all times will suck.

Wrong, FF7 is a good game. It's weird though... people always blaming it on the hype. I've got a friend that doesn't want to watch some animé, because he says it's so freaking hyped. I dont get that... Should we all play and watch things that are less praised nowadays? It's so hyped because its good, isnt it? It's not getting hyped up because it sucks.

Chrono cross is also a good game, but I didnt enjoy it as much as FF7, although the graphics were superior. How is FF7 not a good game? If you're saying something about such a ''Hyped'' game, at least reason why it isnt a good game.

lol If you think FF VII wasnt a good game then you cant like rpg's. You sound like those haters of hyped up games, poeple who say like Halo 2 was crap because it was too hyped up yet made more money in one day then any game or movie(on openning day) EVER has or will. FF VII imo is easily one of the greatest rpg's of all time(way better then chrono cross tho thats a great game as well). FF VII is RPG mastery at its finest. If only S-E could put that love and joy they put in FF VII into there next FF instead of just having good graphics. FF VII showed them you dont need realistic graphics or an insane amount of cutscenes/FMV to be a superb game.

Like NO RPG's ever have black characters in the game let alone in your party and for some poeple like myself find it dissappointing and maybe a little racist. Having a black character in FF VII was icing on the cake for an already rewarding and great rpg experience. Too bad they dont use black characters in any of there rpg's anymore =/ Black poeple are seen in only like GTA games now because developers seem to think like all black poeple are all just gangtsa thugs....

I actually thought that Breath of Fire 4 is better than FF7. I guess it depends entirely on your taste. Since I love anime and most of the Breath of fire games look anime, I like them better...but I also thought that the gameplay was better than FF7.

The only thing I didn't like about Legend of Dragoon was the linear game play, you were stuck on a set path with no free roam. Much like FFX... Ohh wait, I didn't like that one either.

I loved FF X second greatest FF imo(second only to FF VII of course). WoW 500mb rom sizes there goes my hopes of ever using a ps1 emu even if it is fullspeed or I could use psphost to run them like I do with iso's. Funny how N64 roms are so small yet some n64 games have just as much content if not more content then some ps1 games.
