To say whether a rom is working or not, just say the name of the rom and either working or not working, also could you say whether it is compressed with the tool above or not? example:

Does Pokemon Emerald really work? I've could have sworn that I tired atleast 2 diffrent sites with the same rom. They told me that for some people it might work and for others, it wont.

Compressed= used the program to cut the unused space,see first post, file .gba not zipped

Does compressing them just help them run or run better ? For instance if Marvel Ultimate Alliance works without compression but slow , will compressing it make it run faster ? I have been using pspvba because I heard this one didn't work on 2.8 , but I'll try it now .

It just makes the file smaller by taking out un-needed parts of the file.

It's especially for the 2.8 eLoader and it has changed your cpu speed to 300 so games run smooth.

gpSP cannot load really big games, but by compressing them and taking un-needed space it makes the rom be able to play on gpSP.

Some Pokemon are exclusive. Some Pokemon can be found in FireRed, and others in Leaf green.

yeah, keep in mind not all roms can be compressed hugely, this is all we can do for now, until the bug in gpsp is fixed, also remember that 32mb roms are difficult to compress to under 16mb so they probley wont work

did you actually try them on the psp? quite alot of the games look like they havnt compressed enough to work but they actually do, like ruby or sapphire doesnt seem to change at all but it does work.

EDIT: i just tried it myself, it doesnt work (mario and luigi), although fire red does.

gpsp crashes for me when I return to game accessing the menu in game (by pressing triangle by default) . anyone else has the same problem? this only happens when I run zelda minish cap compressed.

Its fine for me, just keep trying it and it should eventually work, that happend with me to sne9sxtyl

I see... thanks for the heads up... but its kinda discouraging when it happens every single time. I've been trying to remedy the problem by reducing the number of homebrew on my emenu and also the ROMs I store. I have about 300 MB of free space on my card.

I dont know why people say "use google for the bios" I wasted so many time looking for it on google (and I really searched) that i had to use other methods to actually find one.The thing is I dont know if I have the right one because everyone says pokemon:emerald works...well not for me.

But! Summon Night 1 and 2 woks well,Krazy Konami Racers too and Tales of Phantasia.

For instance if Marvel Ultimate Alliance works without compression but slow , will compressing it make it run faster ? I have been using pspvba because I heard this one didn't work on 2.8 , but I'll try it now .

Nothin seems to work! Mario & Luigi RPG - Don't know because that crappy file compressor thing reduced it by about 200kb which was still not enough to fit it on. SIMS 2 Pets - Same as above Pokemon Fire Red - Same as above

Dimmed Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: England Posts: 35 Trader Feedback: 0	yeah, keep in mind not all roms can be compressed hugely, this is all we can do for now, until the bug in gpsp is fixed, also remember that 32mb roms are difficult to compress to under 16mb so they probley wont work

I've been trying to remedy the problem by reducing the number of homebrew on my emenu and also the ROMs I store. I have about 300 MB of free space on my card.

But! Summon Night 1 and 2 woks well,Krazy Konami Racers too and Tales of Phantasia.
