We've already confirmed that Homer's RIN doesn't work, but I heard that Gnuboy was working pretty well.
Why don't you try gpsp? You can play gameboy advance games.

Gnuboy works great. Too bad it has no sound.
And gpsp only loads 8mb roms, I think.
He said Gameboy Color.
Not Gameboy Advance.
gnuboy! and i found out how to save! use the ingame save feature, hit L and exit the rom. boot up the exact same rom without hitting up or down arrows. the screen should have the last thing you were at when yot exited the rom. now wait, and the rom will boot up, and now u can continue your game!
I think it can load 16MB or 32MB roms too now. Pokemon Emerald works great and its a little 16MB.Zitat:

Yeah, I can run emerald, and fire red fine. You just have to compress it.Zitat:

Gnuboy works but there's no sound and I don't think it has gamesaves either.
wrong threead
By the way, Gnuboy supports the RTC (the clock used in pokemon games past yellow) and runs roms that are zipped.
