Tombi now works on this version!!! before in Alpha 1 it would only go to the language select and freeze, but now it go's all the way into the game, i would have to say the framerate is mighty impressive, also moving around in the game is possible, ahhh brings back good memories i would say this game is near enough playable on Alpha 2! just a few slow-downs during the game, that's all

You Rock Yoshihiro!!!!

Still, toombi's far better.
I love the non-level style of the game, and the dated grahpics take me back to when i was 7... which is 7 years ago.
Too bad i can't find my tombi disk.

Final Fantasy 7 works OK, if very slow, until the battle swirl. It does that then crashes.

Army Men Sarge's Heros: NTSC, BIN: Loads to main menu, boot camp takes FOREVER to load and doesn't even work, runs at what seems to be 1 frame per 20 seconds
Jurrasic Park War Path: NTSC, BIN: Initial copyright screen then nothing
NGEN Racing: NTSC, BIN: Loads main menu, no save/load, playable to an extent (lil slow)
Omega Boost: NTSC, BIN: Gets to "Checking Memory Card" screen and doesn't continue
RC Stunt Copter: NTSC, BIN: Not playable, can't see the letters to start the game
Syphon Filter: NTSC, BIN: Stops after 989 Studios logo
Ten Pin Alley: NTSC, BIN: Works fine, no saving however, a bit faster than alpha 1
THPS 2: NTSC, BIN: Gets to the main menu but doesn't go further, it's "scanning the memory card in slot 1" forever
THPS 3: NTSC, BIN: Gets to the main menu but doesn't go further, it's "scanning the memory card in slot 1" forever
Tomb Raider: NTSC, BIN: Main game, main menu, but black screen after you select new game

Gran Turismo: PAL ISO, pretty slow, but then no games are fast from what I've heard
Final Fantasy 7: PAL ISO, very slow loading, but stick with it, and it loads properly and plays (if you can last through the FMV lol)

Yeah, more information on the files would be appreciated, like the format of the image and whether it is PAL or NSTC.

I'm extremly siked about the new psx-p, I can't wait untill FF7/Vagrant will be playable on the psp.
Wild 9 - NTSC.BIN Loads opening screens, but dies before menu.
Vagrant Story - NTSC.BIN Loads opening screens and allows you to select new game. Dies shortly after the opening sequence.

Question.....you can't save your game with this emu yet right guys ?

i tried saving with resident evil 3 but it just says no memory card inserted or something.

that's weird, because the emu has the memory card files in the PSX-P directory, so it should recognise that there are memory cards inserted, i haven't tried it though, i guess Yoshihiro might need to sort that out, that's if he is still working on it

well nothing at this point will be normal speed. FFT during cutscenes seems to run around 5-7fps and during text and sprite-points betewen 8-12fps. I'm currently skipping allt he videos and stuff so i can get to gameplay which I will guess is quite playable judging from the speeds i've seen so far.

*update*
I forgot FFT had 2d sprites and 3d backgrounds. Apparently the backgrounds kill the framerate. Game framerates are down to like 4-5fps currently watching the intro sequence where Agrias is talking to princes Ovelia in the chapel. Gave up after ovelia decides to leave the chapel...it'd take a good 20min to get to actual gameplay from that point as I recall how long that intro sequence is. (all this on ntsc-u/bin)

MGS doesn't seem to work...I left it on for 5min after seeing the Konami screen, goes to the next dev screen then screen stays black like a bricked psp. System doesnt' crash, it just hangs. Maybe it just loads reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally slow so at some point something'll come up. I just couldn't take it anymore.
