minish cap problem

wen im fighting the giant octorok for the fourth element the psp crashes
any help?

Minish cap has always had problems with GPSP. Sorry.

There is no way to get it to work.

not yet anyways, but hopefully in future releases it may work, unless if u'r too impatient, u could try the hard way lol, by playing it on PC, and hopefully transferring the saved file/state back into the psp

Or try to use the lantern only when it's needed (to burn the monster's tail) and then switch to something else right after that.

I got past it by only using the lantern to burn his tail and to light it up when it's dark. However if you get past this part it will crash again (unavoidable) when you climb up a rock cliff at the falls. (you'll know when you get there.

You have to stay to the right of these things. It will still crash sometimes even without the lantern, some reason it's always when you reach the left edge of them that it crashes.

But like tomatoe said, there's an unavoidable part later where it will crash.
