Default N64 Emulator quick help

I've stuck Daedalus and Monkey 64 on my psp with super mario 64, but I can't get it to load. I have firmware 2.71SE-C. Monkey crashes when I select "Load Rom", and Daedalus says Loading ROM and then switches off psp.

Anyway 2 quick Qs...

Where do ROMs go for the 2 emulators?

Where do plugins go?

Thanks alot

For Daedalus, ROMs can go either in the ms0:/PSP/GAME/Daedalus/ROMS folder, or in ms0:/N64 -- Either should work. I would assume for Monkey64 they would go in Monkey64/ROMS, but I have never used Monkey64 before.

When you say plugins, what do you mean? Daedalus to my knowledge doesn't use plugins. Perhaps Monkey64 does.

Default hmmm

Monkey 64 loads up the sm64 but seemed to freeze on peach's letter. Daedelus brings up the daedelus screen, I press X then it says it is loading the game, but then it switches itself off.

Few settings in Monkey 64 that can be changed....dunno if anyone knows the best?

It almost sounds like the ROM in particular. Which Daedalus revision are you using?

Wow, yes, very much so. We're on R8 now. It can run Super Mario 64 at a decent speed, and if you find a speed hacked ROM, it performs quite well.

You shouldn't need it. Just use the normal Daedalus folders.

Well I dunno, got a blank screen when I try to load it up, got versions (.N64 & .V64) and both are zipped up. Any ideas why I get the black screen?

I'm not sure. Try an unzipped ROM. Personally, I don't like zipping ROMs as that can lead to compatibility issues, wasted space if an error occurs and it leaves a corrupted extracted file, etc.
