I know I need Gameshark codes, but the only one I've seen is for changing your pokemon in X slot to Mew, which doesn't change it in battle, just in stats, and icon. It doesn't even add to pokedex. Can anyone tell me a place to get the code to get a mew that is visible in battle? TYVM

BTW, this is a rom so I assume this kind of discussion goes here...

use the code to choose the next pokemon you battle, change the var part to the pokemon's number you want...

Anyway, I did put a Catch any pokemon in the while cheat on, where there were two digits missing, so I put the cheat in three times, 1 for mew, 1 for celebi, and 1 for machamp. How does that work?

i am on my psp.
the empty slots (xx) is where the item (pokemom) number goes. i do not have the list in my head so i'll get that too. btw, the list is in memory terms, not normal order

I figured you were on your PSP...

Anyway, I am asking what the cheat(catch any pokemon) does, because I put it on, but havn't played it yet(it's charging).

When I asked how it works, I meant how does the cheat work ingame.

Sorry for having to make you type that for nothing, I know how painful it is to type on psp...=/

it makes the next pokemon you fight in the wild, untill you turn it off, the pokemon you set it to. you only want one of these on at a time too

crystal is a gbc game...
using more then one at the same time wound not work and might crash the game

At first I was so dissapointed that my pokemon weren't actually mew, machamp, and celebi, now they are! Well, mew and machamp are anyway, (celebi later). Thanks again.

And um, I went to challenge a gym leader and left the code on accidently... and he sent out a Machamp. >_> oops. I'm going to try to catch it.

There's a patch available called crystall that patches crystal so every pokemon except the eevee evolutions are avaiable, it also makes the gym leaders harder apparantly. I thought I'd let you know even if you already got mew and celebi.
