when i load a rom i just get a black screen

If he didn't have the BIOS he wouldn't be able to select a rom.

or it could be a bad rom, i had some cases of that, until i replaced them with new roms

could also be a bad bios? or 2.8 might just not be able to run as much? i dunno much about the 2.8 and eloader

2.8 can't run ROMS over 8mb.

That's it's only restriction.

2.8 Eloader from what i hear does support the emu

but the rom may be not be playable until a new version of the eloader comes out or of the emu

Aren't there issues on 2.8 with loading roms over 8mb? could be that...

thnx 4 that i have sega and ps1 emulating fine, so i have plenty to keep me busy until a later release
