Default Sound problem in NeoGeo (MVS) emu?

Hi, is there a reason why all of the large roms only have partial sound? For example, in all large fighting games, you will get a few sounds like 'menu selection' and the music is missing half of it's channels. Anyone else have this problem? Please help =}! I just want to know if my problem is rare or maybe this how it is.

what rom r u trying to run? Roms like Samurai Showdown1-4 work fine but Like Samurai Showdon5 runs with no sound at all. if you open up rominfo.mvs in the MVS directory in a txt editor it will tell you a few things about the rom and how well it works, if i remember correctly

Thanks for replying. The games are: Garou, Kof 2000-2002-2003, Last Blade 2, and Shock Troopers 2 (which gives me the CRC32 error BTW).

did you run the rom_cache program on the roms? larger roms need to be run through that program and place the cache file into the MVS/Cache direcotry.

yeah, I have all of the cache folders. The games run perfectly, however, the main sound effects are gone (like character yells) and the music is missing a few channels.
