no rom is legal unless a 3rd party company made it kinda. not even 4rd party. more like 7th party.

devhook is homebrew but ISOs are illegal

Actually, no ROM is illegal unless the 3rd party company forbids the act of backuping the ROM on their released media (cartridge, CDs, DVDs, etc).

Kinda contradictory to copyright law.

Bottom line is we have no problem with homebrew ROMs; they're typically made specifically for use on emulators and that's the main reason we re speaking about them right now..

Look, if something is a copywritten commercial work (like Super Mario Bros, or Contra, etc.. ) then you may not distribute it.
If it's public domain (which includes homebrew ROMs) then it's fine. It's been said several times in this thread alone and is a rather easy concept to understand..

No, you would be banned.

He said homebrew ROMS, not commercial.

Trying to explain something to GLITCH410 is like talking to a brick wall.

Wow GLITCH...you=fail.

ROM's are illegal PERIOD. Everyone knows that even that "delete within 24hr" is BS also.

You can own the cartridge, UMD, whatever the fact is IT'S ILLEGAL.

HOMEBREW ROM's are legal. Why? THEY'RE HOMEBREW.
