I have psp firmware 1.50 and i was wondering if the games on my psp will still run if i update to 2.0? becaiuse i wanted to install the web browser for my psp.

NO homebrew will not run on 2.0 psp's so no your "games" will not run anymore if you upgrade, and if you want a web browser there are some for 1.5.

That all depends on what you mean by "games" - if you mean official PSP games, keep in mind that at least some future PSP games will require firmware updates. It would be nice to hope that Sony will only institute the required update on certain games, but the probable reality is that most if not all future games will force upgrades. So, if you stick with 1.50, you may find your actual PSP library sorely limited.

On the other hand, if by "games" you mean ROMs and other homebrew applications, you should stick with your 1.50, as 2.00 does not currently run homebrew (and there is no guarantee that it ever will). If you are interested in upgrading solely for the web browser, there are several available for 1.50 (I believe the newest is the Tenchi browser?) that you may want to look at.

Whatever you choose, just keep in mind that upgrading is permanent, so if you think that there's even a small chance that you might regret upgrading in the future, it would probably be best for you to stick with 1.50 at least for a little while and keep an eye on future developments.
