Memphis, TN.
I am really just starting doing some serious photography, but I am pretty satisfied with my results. I have been using Kodak BW400CN 35mm film on a Cannon Rebel G 35mm SLR with a 35-80mm lens.
I have a lot of pictures, so I won't post them in the thread, just go to my Flickr album: http://www.flickr.com/photos/breakde...7608008042253/
Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated!

Ugh, black and white. I hate black and white pictures.
Wait, that wasn't constructive. I'm sorry.
Are all of the pictures black and white because you only had BW400CN film? ;)
I like most of the pics though. I like this one more than the others though for some unknown reason.
Did you edit any of the pictures at all afterhand?
Oh, and by the way.. what happened in September 1993? xD

wow
they're pretty good. you just started, you say?
am actually surprised there's still a photography section in our forums. ahahaha. yeah, i haven't been in this neck of the woods long. anyhow, am really sad we had to dump the photog blog in qj. am in photography as well, but right now am dabbling more into lomography. :p
anyway. they're looking good, over-all. i see you play a lot with depths of field. however, some images, like the breakdecks picture (bwm_36), seems overexposed (notice the leaves part). that's usually one of the primary issues when handling black and white.
hmm... actually.. the texture is kinda off, more than just overexposed. or it could just be my monitor here. o_O
but yeah. good job. :) thanks for keeping this photog forums alive and kickin. really nice to see some activity going on here.
