i am new to all of this. i recently got a nintendo ds lite and wanted to try some homebrew applications so i bought :
-supercard sd lite (rumble pack)
now, when i try to run it, all i ever get is two white screens. no supercard menu. i think i can see the menu appear for one split second (with the different tabs that go at the top) but it then disappears and the bottom screen remains blank.
I have tried the L+R test at start up and when the microSD card is plugged in, it gets stuck at Test SD/MMC.
I have tried updgrading the firmware (the one on the superkey right now is 184) but nothing seems to be happening.
as i said, i am a newbie and far for being a techie, i need things to be explained to me in the simplest way possible (basically, talk to me like i was a bit stupid).
i have no idea what the issue could be. i read that the microSD has to be formatted in FAT or FAT16. i formatted it in FAT. should there be anything on the microSD card if i want to run it ? or should it work with an empty microSD ?
please advise as i am really at my wits end now.
