New Years Eve/Day wouldn't be good for most people I think, IMO the next good time would be next weekend.
Yea same...
Btw did you add me as a friend yet?
Okay, next week it is.
Me? Yeah I added you a while ago Vanden.
Yeah that would be a lot better though any later then next weekend and it would be in the middle of, if not very close to my exams >.<Zitat:

If I knew it was going to be postponed I wouldn't have dropped out.
the holidays was a bad time to make a tournament TBH
Chea, I got exams too..:(Zitat:

I got exams in January, the second week and the third week of January that is.
My first one is on the 9th for me.. Maths A-level, Fun Fun Fun!
PS. I'm addicted to the Snakeball theme tune. If you just hover on it instead of pressing X you hear it.
About the CoD4 tourney, is it now GMT v PST or are we still doing random teams?
Someone want to play now?
Unlucky, i've got my first ones on the 20th or something.Zitat:

The tournaments going to be timezones. Its just way too hard to get this many time timezones coordinated. If theirs just one person in EST or something, they can join the timezone thats closest to theirs. eg. PST. Fair?
robzzzz18 and the raider nation, im in pacific time
vanden9 accept my invite!
is this getting anywhere?
Not really no, people here have the organisation of a cooked hamster.
Heh. Yeah. But it'll be even more dandy if some of you guys helped with the organization of tourney. I'm finally off for the next couple of days, so I'm gonna help out with this one.
It seems that the biggest problem that we have here is with the time zones. Now, I take it that most of the people here are from either the UK or the US, there being only a few exceptions. What I've been thinking about is that for every match, there can be a set amount of days for that match to actually take place. Let's say that Example Team 1 is to face Example Team 2. They will have Thurs-Fri to play at an elected time they see fit. This would only require communication between the the team members, to which we can use this thread to hold such discussions. The same will be so for ExTeams 3 and 4.
It's obvious now that a lot of people are already losing interest. This is our first attempt at a multi-timezone tournament, so of course it's getting difficult, but I'm sure we can pull this off.
Or, we could just have two teams for two timezones.
US against UK. And the ones that are from other countries can join the team with less players.
So when are we playing?
If there's anything wrong with it PM me.Spoiler for Ok, I made a list:
EDIT: Ok thanks Moose. As you can see we have quite uneven numbers. If we need one if us GMT people to play with the Americans, I will I prefer playing very late, my internet sometimes cuts out during the day.
bronze95 is GMT
How the hell is this going to work out?
I don't see it working out any time soon...
Maybe we can set up one on one matches, and have a score board.
I used to do Command and Conquer: Generals tournaments.
I made what I remember, I forgot what they are called so I made one.
It went like this:

One on one matches would be better, because it would be hard to get the full team on all at the same time.
That actually seems like a good idea.
Tyler Sullivan always has good ideas, like buying premium for my Qj account tomorrow...
Edit: What are those score boards or leader boards called?
I'm EST...so no matter what I'll have a 3 hour difference >_<Zitat:

If I could make a suggestion - Sunday, 10 P.M. PST?
Well, the problem with 1 vs 1 is how short each members time in the tournament will be.
Lets say, Vee Vs FranzH. I destroy him in a matter of minutes. He's out of the WHOLE tournament and he got to play all of..2 mins?
Yeah 1 on 1 is not so good IMO.
Ya I understand that part, but it doesn't have to be one on one, that is just a sketchup I made.
We could do bigger teams, but what I am saying is, its going to be hard for us to get everyone on at the same time, so we should break it down a little.

Breaking it down does make it easier to organize matches but if you go too small it won't be as fun. I still think it is possible to find a time when everyone can play. In my opinion (In GMT terms) this coming Saturday.
I'm down for that. Just aslong as its A reasonable time. No 6AM fights.
How about 7pm GMT Saturday?

PST people make a time. Also, PSPHax0r9 which timezone do you think you'll play with?
lol k, im sure most people can make it, cause seriously we need to have this tourny and its taking too long.
-= Double Post =-
Thats 11am PST i think,
agreed?
Im sure us GMTers can go a bit later then that for people in PST if 11am is too early :)
Yeah, i think the perfect time is 9PM GMT, 1:00 PM PST.
Agreed?
We cant keep longing this, from now on, anyone who cant make the date can gobble my nob.
I thought we weren't going to do them at the same time?
:S
Wtf what nob? ;)Zitat:
Zitat von Vee
