Americans had a network patch, And UK didn't. This makes the two servers incompatible. Even with private games.
I don't remember downloading a patch, when was it released?
If that's so, then we make 2 teams out of the UK guys that play against eachother on Sunday and 2 teams of PST/EST'ers that do th same on Sat or Mon. Agreeable?

Well Ive played with granite on it and if he is in the US then I guess they are compatible. As for who hosts it, just nominate yourself if you think you are punctual enough and can set up the server etc and post that it will be you.

I've tried hosting a couple of times. Sometimes successful, others not. The thing is that sometimes I do get 'connection interruption' error messages while playing online, only to get signed out of PSN entirely afterward. I'm not sure if this happens to anyone else but me, but it is a rare phenomenon. I have a reliable cable connection, so it shouldn't be an issue as long as everyone else is on a reliable connection as well. That means try be hard wired if possible(no wifi), no other computers on your network are pulling more than 50kbps downspeed constantly, and make sure your router's settings will allow for others to connect to you. Don't go scurrying around in your linksys settings just, yet. Leave everything as it should be. I just want everyone to make sure they're connection is reliable enough so that it doesn't bog everyone else down.
So yeah, I'm a little sketchy, but I'll host if we can't have anyone say they will within the next two hours.
I'll have no problem with hosting. As long as I have everyone's PSN ID's, there shouldn't be any bit of a problem. I'll create a private match and send invites. If you don't get into the game on the first try, I'll keep sending them in. Post on these forums if you can't connect, I'll be watching.
And finally, headsets. Make sure you calibrate them before going online, meaning make sure they're connected before starting the game. If you turn on your bluetooth during a match, you might lose sync.
