1st off this has been tested personaly by me as to help the community, with some relations to waninkoko he managed to fix all the bugs to make this as safe as possible and as user friendly. I have used this tool from the 1st beta to the newest and it works perfect everytime, i have downgraded upgraded my wii about 9 times with this tool. so rest asure that this has minimal chance to brick your wii. even if you install a wrong region(as i did 1st time) you shouldnt brick your wii only semi brick, so u can run the app again and install the correct region

What's the point in a downgrader? Can't everything that can be done in earlier firmwares still be done in the newer ones?

OMG the Wii is getting cooler and cooler with all these new hacks and exploits. Makes me wanna join lol with the PSP scene a bit old and the wii just beginning.

Hi All,

Thank you for the nice s/w. I have been a brave one, and tried it out. I am afraid to report that it does not work, details as follow:

Like every one else, being silly. In my case, due to other reason (took out the SD card to use for something else, therefore can not load any games). Anyway, I thought it is the firmware and other, therefore clear the Wii system memory, and update to the latest firmware to 3.3j. Now I learnt my mistake and suffer since.

I have Wiikey 1.9s and config 1.4 install.
As said, firmware now in 3.3j.

I tried USB BECKO, with latest geckoOS16d & geckoOS16dcf, both don't work under any combination setting.

I read onto this forum, about the downgrading s/w. By following instructions, I downgrade to 3.2J successfully, it said on the s/w, and also via the Wii setup menu. but when you try to run any backup games, it wouldn't load up at all. Again, I try with 3.1J, the same thing happened. Yet again I downgrade all the way to 2.0J, it still wouldn't load up any saved games.

The only copy games that work at present is the "The_Legend_of_Zelda_Twil ight_Princess_(WII)", which I used to create the Homebrew Channel initially, and my original WiiFit(jap), which once loaded, Wii update the firmware back to 3.1J via firmware on the WiiFit, where my Wii is on now.

My conclusion is that once you have update to 3.3J, even using the downgrade program, and successfull downgraded. There is something left within the machine to stop it load any copy saved games.

Please feel free to comment and share your info. May be I following the wrong steps etc.

Anyone succeed? or it is just me?

hmm i couldn't see Waninkoko releasing it if it doesn't work. Im sure its been tested before release is i had the sd card id try it out.
