Which is the best in your opinion/easiest to install. At least say one with GC and Wii region free and backups please. If this question is not allowed to be ask just delete it and I am sorry.

haven't really seen any mention of this, although someone asked it above. will mod chips allow online play of backups, or will there be a requirement to disable them to play retail discs to play online? also, since the wii is always online, is there no way for it to be detected by nintendo?

GC and Wii back up should work with all. Region free is best to go with WiiKey but not all games work.

No one knows about online play considering there is no online games out yet. There has been no mention or confirmation that Wii is not working when online. So its safe to say..it works. Nintendo is modifying the layout of the board so that there will be no quick solder but wire install still works.

I'm receiving WiiKey, CycloWiz v1 and v2 and WiiD for review. Will have them up when received, installed and tested.

OMG, I upgraded my wii for the Internet Browser do mod-chips stiil work on this firmware? Im getting a Wiinja v2. I just bought it! :'(

I want to mod my wii but I heard that with the new firmware, it will brick your chiped wii. is that true?

I'm running 3.0E on my PAL machine with Wiikey.
Works great for me.

I bought my wii in December last year, and was thinking about putting a modchip on it, so I can run Hb's etc. Which one would you guys recommend? I've heard it was nearly impossible to put modchips on new models, but then also heard it changed in the last months. What would you guys recommend?

I read some topics on the Wii and I decided to buy a Wii key to launch homebrews (I love to buy original games so I won't become a pirate lol )

I wonder if I can still use my Wii without any problems (updates etc. since i read that the Wii is checked with an internet connection, if it is modified or whatever)

If i can use my wii normally and also use homebrews, i will buy the wiikey now
