am i correct in thinking that i can only play 1 on 1 on the wii?
ie me versus 1 of my brothers, not me and my 3 brothers all at once?

thanks, i cant seem to find this out anywhere, and the useless idiots in Game stores dont even know the wii has online gaming!

It depends on what game you're trying to play.
What game is it?
Some games (like Wii Sports) can play 4 player (not online)
But I don't know about online, I guess it depends.
Games like Guitar Hero III can only play one person online.

As far as I know there are only 3 games that can go online

Mario strikers
You can engage in four-player play online, but it's with a limit of two players per
console.

GH3
1vs1
and Pokemon I think it also 1v1 but that game sucked so I dont really care about it..

Medal of Honor Heroes 2 (only one per console)
Super Smash Bros (don't know the limit, but I believe it is 2 per console)

On GH3 you can play coop online meaning 2 per console

Wrong. You cant even do that on XBL or PSN with their dedicated online services.

GH3 is either 1v1 battles or 1+1 co-op.
