oh god its amazing. ive convinced people to buy wiis cz of it (only 1 since the other cant afford a wii but maybe for christmas). i rented it from blockbuster and i didnt REALLY want to cz im not a racing game person... but oh god its so fun.
btw on the wii side of blockbuster i saw like 9 games i wanted to rent and play... i looked on the ps3 side..... like 2
Wow. It's actually good?
Do you use the controller like a wheel?
IGN gave it 7.4/10: http://wii.ign.com/articles/749/749047p3.html
ye i know i saw the rating in ninty power. it was 7ish. there are several interesting control schemes such as the wiimote is hel at a 45 degree angle facing tv. u tilt it down to floor it and raise it towards the ceiling to brake/reverse. u steer w. the nunchuck and its direction in regards to the tv. so point the nunchuck left and the car goes left. but yeah. i prefer just using it like a wheel. a bit of a learning curve but its fun as hell. ima rent excite truck next
I got this game the other day, its actually good. I dont normally like these kinds of games but the controls are very neat. I like using controll setup 5. You tilt the wii-mote down as if it were a gas pedal and you use the analog on the nunchuck to turn. There are 4 other control setups that are pretty well done as well.
i played this game too, it was GREAT!
Ya know, its funny. My brother asked me if Id think NFS: Carbon on the Wii would be fun. I said 'all Wii games are feun' and he's a NFS 'fan' kinda, so what do you know, that day he gives me a present for my 2nd christmas and its NFS Carbon. I havent played it yet since im at my dads (hence the 2nd christmas) and i didnt bring my Wii incase of it getting lost or stolen somehow. So I come here looking for some answers and I here its great :)
I loved NFS: Rivals on the PSP. The pursuit thing was much too hard at the end, but other then that its great. I hope this game was worth the buy, as my brother playted Excite Truck and loved it, he said the control scheme (controls really) was so awesomeand natrual, hearing that NFS has this as well, seems great and he'll defiantely love it too.
Of fTopic a litle:
The Wii is the first game system my brother and I actually play together now that were teenagers (he being 17, me 14) and we now can come home, have time to kill, and go to my room and just play the Wii. Wii Sports is great since he's good, like 3 handicap, at golf, so when we play, i try to kill him by really trying and all i can do is tie or lose... Motivation i suppose ;)
i havent really a game me and my 9 yr old bro can enjoy. alot of games are too hard for him or so he says. like in splinter cell im holding his remote most of the time
