Game Informer Online's Jeff Cork is reporting live from the event, and we'll have extensive hands-on with the game later today.

EU = TBA 08

Not sure when it was originally slated to release but it doesn't really seem like a delay that would have any dramatic impact.

When I read this on Kotaku I just started crying..

At E3 '05, they said it would be a launch title.. Then christmas next year.. Then they confirmed the date at E3 saying December 03, and now they delay it? Come on Nintendo

They never said it would be a goddamn launch title. Work didn't even start on it til' Fall 2005. And back then it was said Sakurai was the only person on the team and that there is something going to happen. I never read launch and Super Smash Bros. Brawl together in the same sentence. They also denied it'd be a launch title back in 2006.

I think it was for a good reason, I mean, I just got word of Sonic being added, and had never heard anything of it till they just pushed the date back. I haven't really been waiting though, so, yeah I don't know exactly how it feels to buy a console for a game making you wait over a year or 2, but yeah, I can't wait for it either.

Why couldn't Nintendo just re-release SSB melee added like 5 characters and online support? I would have been fine with that while I waited 3 years to play SSB Brawl. I don't care about sonic or having any third party characters all want to do is own someone online with Jigglypuff is that too much to ask?

Speaking of Capcom, the delay of SSBB should help out with Resident Evil shouldn't it? Umbrella chronicles was going to be 2cd or 3rd on my Christmas list but now it's at the top of my list because of the delay. Other games are also coming out like Galaxy and a few others. It should make their sales better. Maybe not. Just saying.

Resident Evil: Umbrella chronicles uses the wii well. Apart from the sucking fact it's a rail game. I'd rather get an RE game tbh. (Feel free to prove me wrong. I just want a good game for the wii)

RE:UC is crap.

There has been nothing good written about it.

And there has been nothing but glowing previews for Zak and Wiki.

IGN even have a buy Zak and Wiki campaign because they think it is so good.

I haven't read any previews except the one on n-sider.com. The preview sucked (writing wise). I'm still iffy but who knows. I'll check it out.

how many of you bought a wii pretty much just for ssbb? just wondering. i can say i havent been anticipating any games for it because i got one much to my surprise and dismay. x.x (only because my brother becomes the most annoying arrogant snob because he can beat me in wii sports bowling and baseball. a pos he is. i can beat him in pretty much every other game we own but i dont gloat remotely close to how much he does.)
