Would you like your fries rides small, medium, or large? Just like some of your everyday fastfood items, the wheels rolling for MySims Racing come in three different sizes, each with their pros, cons, and customization options.
The small and compact karts have great acceleration and handling, but their lack of weight means they're not built for jockeying racing lanes. Then there's the mid-size class, which has less acceleration and handling, but could take more punishment than the little ones. Finally, there's the trucks-and-SUVs class, which are basically track bullies with their size advantage.
Winning on these tracks mean you gotta pick you vehicle type very carefully. Thankfully, you'll have a big enough garage to house them all. The garage also comes with four customization options to tweak your ride with: Performance Upgrades, Styling Upgrades, Paint Shop, and Create-a-Sim.
Performance Upgrades: allows you to adjust your vehicles' performance attributes.
With Styling Upgrades, you can choose to customize ten parts all over your car, from bumpers, headlights, all the way to the sound of your horn, all of which you can design with 24 different colors and 20 door decals at the Paint Shop.
- Engine - for speed and acceleration
- Frame - for weight and acceleration
- Special - (no this is not Twisted Metal) add-ons that affect the above stats
