Nintendo's follow up to Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, has been dated for a July overseas release. Japan will be getting the game a month earlier. It was originally slated for a Spring launch.
Just like its predcessor, Wii Sports Resort is a collection of sport-themed minigames. There are reportedly ten in total, but so far all I've heard about are Frisbee, Jet Skiing, and Kendo. Maybe they'll add in a beach volleyball game too or something.
Wii Sports Resort will also be the first Wii Series title to support Nintendo's new Wii MotionPlus accessory. It will come bundled with the device along with an extended Wiimote jacket, so chances are if the new accessory sells well we'll be seeing this game on the charts too.
