Harmonix and MTV Games has finally brought back The Beatles into the mainstream with The Beatles: Rock Band (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii), the Rock Band game starring the most successful band of all time. Catch George, Ringo, Paul, and John as they make some beautiful music together in their E3 debut.
Beatles: Rock Band will span across the illustrious career of the band, featuring music straight of their albums. Like the Rock Band tracks, this game will have its downloadable tracks come in waves at a time. As it is, Beatles: Rock Band will have 45 tracks on purchase, while Abbey Road will be available for download soon after release.
Here are some of the tracks that you won't need to download:
- "I Saw Her Standing There"
- "I Want to Hold Your Hand"
- "I Feel Fine"
- "Day Tripper"
- "I am the Walrus"
- "Back in the USSR"
- "Octopus's Garden"
- "Here Comes the Sun"
- "Get Back"
Since the announcement came from a Microsoft presscon, they've revealed exclusive DLC for the Xbox 360, but don't close doors just yet on PS3 exclusive DLC just yet. Beatles: Rock Band will be out in stores as standalone or with its special bundle by September 9th, 2009.
