Capcom not making big changes to Monster Hunter 3's overseas release
With Japan already taken over by Monster Hunter 3, Capcom is now getting ready to take the game to the international stage. Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto recently talked a bit about their plans for the game's overseas release in an interview with 4Gamer.
First of all, purists will appreciate the fact that Capcom won't be making any drastic changes for the international release. Tsujimoto explained that Capcom will instead be focusing on looking for which areas of the game to promote heavily in the Western markets.
One is the new Wii-specific control scheme, which according to Tsujimoto helps appeal to new players by being more accessible. Tsujimoto also claimed that there are quite a few gamers outside Japan who have shown a lot of interest in the game's monster behavior component, although he acknowledged that the question of how many of these players are out there remains.
The Wii exclusive Monster Hunter 3 is slated for an international release next year.
