Copper ore's so easy to come by that it's beneficial to refine it to copper bars and sell it at auction occasionally.
I made sure that I picked up all the secondary abilities as soon as I first hit Undercity.
I've made full use of all the Rough linen i got off the Scourge in Tirisfal with First Aid.
Cooking's good too as it gives me lots of things to sell.
I can't see myself using Fishing very often but I've always got the option.
With First Aid I'm able get through a fair few of the quests I had struggled with before (the ones where its kill x amount of y and then kill zzz person). Altho it could also be that I've got some awesome swords duel wielded, much higher level as I ventured to Ogrimar and got some swords that are far better than anything in Undercity and Silverpine.
Your not buying swords/weps/armor from vendors(Not AH) are you? Quests and drops will yield allot better for you. Also, all the AH's are linked meaning they have all the same items in each one. (Just in case you don't know)Zitat:

dont do that dude, if there white or gray that means there not good at all. if u find a green or later on blues and purples those are better. vendors are major ripoffs, go to AH and buy green armor and weapons.Zitat:

The AH is the biggest rip off in the entire game. I certainly wont be buying anything off it. I can buy items in stores next to the AH and sell them for 10 times what I've just paid. If I can do it so can everyone else, I really don't understand why people pay the AH prices.Zitat:

the thing is the items of vendors are usually whites, which only give armor (no + to stats), while greens which are also cheap give + to stats like agil and stam which rogues need....even if u dont listen to me, you will understand later on :)Zitat:

Im thinking of investing say 50g on a lvl 19 lock twink.
As you know battlegrounds are split 10-19, 20-29 and so on. Best gear for you level really with the best enchants you can get. 50g is not enough really. Spell thread/leg armor alone is 60-400g alone depending on what one you get. Not the mention all the other BoE's and enchants. Your gonna want to have a few 100g's to throw away to a decent Twink.Zitat:

yea, we're not the best guild but i like to think we're pretty damn good considering we consider ourselves a casual raiding guild, dont use dkp nonsense, dont have to be there for 90% of raids or gkick, just ask that you come prepared, have the gear to do it and spec right and play your class right :P and so far thats been workin out pretty well for us lol. right now we're trying to work on fathom lord a little bit but we also want to spend a little more time on al'ar and solarian, al'ar we got to phase 2 but he was bugged for phase 1 after 2 of our tanks died so it doesnt really count :P and solarian we sadly havent tried yet :(

no, spending money in general on wow isnt worth it. i was just bored, wanted a change, and Eldiabloftw was a gay name, now atleast some of my bad rep is gone on the server for people who dont know about the change :P
although their service was good, i changed my rogues name then my mages name, logged on my friends rogue and by the time i did that the names were already changed, all of like 5 minutes

Well with any loot system points get handed out regardless, but compared to DKP it's much more fair and you can't hoard like you can with DKP...Zitat:
