Default taking backup of content on xbox

I have some videos stored on hard drive of my 360. Anyway I can take backup of it? I have heard that it is not possible to do so. I need to do that urgently because I want to sell it and get PS3 instead

What sort of videos? If it's something you bought, they absolutely will not play on your PC. They're DRM-protected and locked to that machine.

Even the free ones wont play on PC.

Absolutely nothing from the 360 HDD is useable on PC. Not even the gamerpictures.

@belle103: Why would you back it all up if you're selling your 360? Why not keep the HDD and sell it as a core. Or just sell it. if the videos were free then they will still be free if you decide to get another 360. If they weren't free then they wont play on another 360 anyway unless you're signed into XBL permanently.
