Default divx streaming

Hope I'm posting in the right part of the forum. I have searched the forums, searched the net, posted on other forums, and I havent found any solutions that has worked for me and I am really getting fed up with it. I am talking about the new dashboard update that allows video streaming of divx from your pc. The problem is my PC wont see the 360 at all. XBOX live works fine (all test come out clean with Nat as open) and of course I can play a file natively from disk but that is not the most economical way to go. As far as I know (if im mistaken or there are more ports, please let me know) the media feature requires TCP ports 2869 and 10243, and UDP ports 1900, 10284, 10283, 10282, 10281, and 10280 to be open on your computer. I have the router (WRT54G v2.2 w/tomato firmware--dd-wrt was also a bust) doing PPoE for my bellsouth modem, static address setup by mac from said router, and all above ports forwarded to it. I find that strange since the 360 test everything fine. I have tried it with both UPnP off and on as well. All firewalls (just using windows firewall) and antivirus(Avast free) were disabled at the time of testing. Any suggestions for this very annoying problem?

Enable media sharing in Windows Media Player, add some videos to your library, and connect to your PC on the 360.

Well that's the bare minimum obviously, but yes that was done. I have media sharing enabled, added files and a whole lotta nothin is happening. Testing from the 360 side does not detect the PC either.

What version of Windows Media Player do you have? Also have you tried sharing using Tversity, just to see if that works? What version of Windows are you running?
