Saw this in the list of updates and wondering if anyone has tried it...

Pop-up guide / Dashboard now supports USB keyboard

Improved keypress sounds when using USB keyboard

Are you able to use a Keyboard for sending msg's to friends and such or entering other txt thru the dashboard ?

Yes you can with a keyboard, with a USB cable of course. I tried it, and it is easier to send longer messages thru the dashboard

You can use it for most txt based things.

You've been able to do this from start, they just added more compatability

Ahh I missed out on that....anything I heard from microsoft about supporting keyboards was "no no no no no" which I understood because everyone has a microphone....interestig, because keboard support is something Sony is pretty proud of and MS really hasn't talked about it (I was clueless after all), figured if it was a feature they would have it on the side of the box or something.....so anyone try plugging a mouse in there ?

sony's proud because they have to advertise more features so consumers will feel 200 dollars more is justifiable. and i dont think it supports a mouse, but it might in the fall update.
