NME-360 Modchip Backup?

Hi i am REALLY considering getting this mod chip but do not understand how i am ment to backup my games in order to make getting this chip worth while.

i have downloaded the program that is on the faq part of the website but that does nothing but bring up a quick dos command window and close.

if anyone could either tell me how step by step on how to do this or link me to a page that has this information i would appreciate it.

also will i need to be using the 360's dvd drive and connect it to my comp in order to get the dvd image or will my regular dvd-RW work fine?.

also could someone delete the post that is in the wrong forum i also posted it in the accesories mods and media i wasnt sure which one this suited.
