42" HDTV 1080i

I got a new TV, so now I play on a 37" LCD HDTV in 1080i.

Let me preface this by saying that price is because it was an open box item at Circuit City, so you'll be paying considerably more, especially for one that's 6" bigger...

With that said, it's a great set. It had one of the best pictures in the show room, and it has great features. The TV's menu is extremely easy to navigate. I don't know how important that is, but my Uncle has a 60" 1080i TV from about 5 years ago, and it was a nightmare to navigate the Menu, so I thought I'd mention it.

But yeah, the picture is immaculent. I mean, it's a Samsung DLP... It doesn't get much better than that

Oh, the Xbox 360 looks awesome. Play GoW at 1080p on this set actually makes it look better, which, one would think is impossible. And the PS3 also very awesome... Blu-Ray movies look amazing, but even DVD's upscaled to 1080p Look Awesome.

I highly recommend this TV Abe, go for it

P.S. I just thought I'd add, my PS3 is gonig through HDMI, and my Xbox is going through VGA. Both look exceptional. It does have 2 HDMI ports, so you'll be able to plug both you're PS3 and Elite through HDMI. Seems perfect for you.

Right now a kick ass JCV SDTV, with component inputs. Damn good picture quality for an SDTV. Later this year, hopefully a 42" 1080p Sharp Aquos.
