Almost. It's actually custom firmware for the DVD drive.

It's a fairly easy process if you know what your doing with PC firmwares.

It completely voids your warranty tho.

And we also don't support it here because of the piracy policy. All I will say is go and check out xbox-scene.com for guides. They don't tell you where to get vital things tho.
