Can i save gamesaves onto external harddrive?

can i save 360 game saves onto a external hdd?

like i have a 3.5 hdd and i am going to buy a usb enclosure for it as soon as i get my paycheck. will i be able to save onto it?

if not. am i better off buying an xsata or a memcard usb/adapter and or action replay??

You can't save anything to the external HDD, just read from them. If you want to take your saves off the 360 HDD you will need a XSATA
