I have a few questions. My brother will be leaving for college in about half a year. And, sadly, will be taking the(..his) Xbox 360. By then I plan to have baughten my own.
1.So my first question is; what's the best way to transfer all of my data that is on his 20G HDD to mine? I assume you can use a memory card, but I don't want to have to buy one just for the one transfer. Is there any other way? And would I just have to transfer the profile, or would I have to do each game seperatly as well? 2.Also. Is there any way to get more than the 20G? (12 really..... ) Are there bigger HDD's? Or if not, do you think there will be by then? Thanks. |

Depends what you mean actually.
If you just want to transfer your gamerprofile, acheivements and such. You will be able to migrate your gamerprofile onto the new 360 with just your Live account login. Gamesaves and such are entirely different, and yeah you would have use a memory card, or take appart the HDD, hook it up to your PC, use special prog to transfer files, then you would have to open up new HDD (voiding warranty) and transfer back over. Whic you probably don't want to do. :P Also, MS pretty much HAS to release a bigger harddrive within 6 months. Hard to say if it would be 120GB, but at least 60GB forsure. My reasoning behind this is if they really want movie marketplace to take off and have people using it lots, well, they HAVE to give them more space...
