My friends and i often play gow through the system link. but they say that another friends console doesn't support it.
my question is: do you need hdd on both consoles in order to do system link? next question: is it possible to link more then two consoles? if so how would i go about doing that. when the ethernet cable goes directly from one system to another |

For more than two consoles you need a network hub and run them all through it.
But I dunno about the HDD. I didn't even know the 360 supported system link. |

You should just be able to go into the game you want to play, select System Link, and then have one console host a game. Then on the other console, just join the game the other console is hosting.

If it's more than two 360s you'll need one hub/switch and regular PATCH cables, one cable per console. Your commo guys will definately have the cables and they MIGHT have an old hub or switch you can use. Don't forget to run those things through a good surge protector. Greeting from Kuwait by the way...I've probably been on your camp at one time or another this year.
