I'mma try this out, but I don't think I'll be able to do it. I've been playing games all my life, starting with the SNES when I was one year old. Even though I didn't know what I was doing, I've always held all controllers the same way, and as things stand, I probebly always will. Also ZX, don't judge me on last night's play, lulz.
i remember last night. ^_^..Okok I won't judge lol..Originally Posted by Freshmilk
One more thing about my technique, It's very hard to do when your hands are dry. Sometimes I even wash my hands before I start playing. It keeps my hands damp and feeling fresh. It's very hard to move your pointer finger around when it's dry.

One more thing, Moving the camera up and down helps alot while running. I can see clearer from different angles. It's wierd, but it really helps.Originally Posted by psp11

I hold mine with both thumbs on each analogue sticks. Then I use my two 'first fingers' for LB, and RB. I use my two 'second fingers' for LT and RT. Then when I need to use the D-Pad, or A, B, X, Y buttons I use my thumbs.
I like to call your stance the "Regular Stance".Originally Posted by Moose_Island
But for me, It would probably be damn hard.
Hehe, yeah. It hurts my hand using your method. :)Originally Posted by Zx30
I hold mine upside down and use my elbows to press the triggers:)
I call it the spastic grip:ROFL:

Glad to hear so many views..Especially that spastic grip!
I don't console game at all anymore. (Cause I don't have a 360/Ps3/wii ) But when I did, I used the normal way where my right thumb would control the right analog stick and the 4 main buttons.
Now that I think about it Zx30, your way seems way more efficient for shooting games. I hear your amazing at them so it must be working. I'll give it a shot if I manage to get a console.
That's weird dude...
I hold it the regular way (thumbs on the sticks, index fingers on the triggers)... I do use my right hand to press the Dpad though, so can keep moving while I change weapons, but other than that, I stay conventional.
I'll try that, to see if it works though... It just looks uncomfortable...
[B]Girl, just call me the gamecock, because when you beat it on hard, you get the special ending.
They call her a ho, and you hope to god it was true...
'Cause see, a ho f*cks everybody... And a bitch f*cks everybody but you.
Oh yeah, I just remembered another thing I did.Originally Posted by DFS
you say you press the D-pad with your right hand...correct?
Well I just remembered, when i need to switch weapons, My LEFT POINTER finger now controls the Left thumbstick, and my left THUMB presses the D-pad. I would not play the game that way, but for that 1 second I need to switch weapons, It works effectively for me.
Who do you hear this from? ^_^Originally Posted by Brad

Bit off topicish but do you do any tournament? I Bet you could win some cash if your skills are that good.
No..sadly I don't..and for some reason I don't think I'd win any of them anyways.Originally Posted by Brad.
I also never hear about any of them so I don't know when they happen...
Where do I go to get information about tournaments?
Pretty neat..I just saw a video of MLG'ers...
I just learned a new technique to use online^_^
