Bored so im going to be all *****y about how none of the currently release xbox 360 games are any good.
Gun : Dull, a nice concept but unrewarding and repetitive.
Perfect Dark Zero : Too freakin short, and the ending is worse than halo 2's ending, the enemies die like mime artists and the models for most of the first levels, look like dodgy european fetishists, not to mention the terrible voice acting for both players and enemies.
Project Gotham Racing : Too few cars, too few tracks, no weather conditions just dusk, night and day.
Little reason to achive better goals other than to bump up your gamer score, cant share replays or photos with others, even over live.
Online is terrible, little lag and well thought out online system, but it usually goes like this
Approach corner, and brake correctly, only to have the guy behind you, make no attempt to brake or steer, and use your car as a buffer to get around the corner.
Random people *****ing in various languages with no indication of who is talking.
People leaving negetive feedback on you even if you drove cleanly and plaid fairly, just because they didn't win.
Ridge Racer 6 : Horrible rails, feels far too obvious now everythings more detailed, thus doesn't actually work, so long as you turn enough to straighten your car, you often don't even need to approach corners.
Repetitive and tiring tier system with unresponsive and ultimately bricky cars, all fly around corners on rails, even if theyre in the air (various scientists turning in their graves), This was all cool and fun for the first few Ridge racers, but now it just feels cheap.
Kameo : Ugh, furrys wet dream, completely annouying characters and npc's
Condemned : I've seen scarier kids at haloween, horrible gameplay "oh look a pipe with nails, it has more nails than your current pipe!!", retarded storyline and silly plot twists (Yes, i clean out a full room of baddies only to return there 2 seconds later and be smacked by a guy in a cutscene), too similar to various other first person shooters, highly predictable and uses too many only scare tactics which just feel cheesy to the seasoned gamer, a message to developers, making coridoors stupidly dark doesnt make it scary, it just makes me wonder why i bought an xbox 360 for its lovely graphics when you make it too dark to effing see them.
Dead or alive 4 : Higher resolution DOA3 with different costumes and various objects to fall over during fights.. annouyingly large breasts and wobbly parts, wooden stances and silly motions a plenty, great fighter but annouying as hell alot of the time.. if i spent the time setting up and timing a throw to make my victim get hit by a car/truck, the least you could do is make said victim die.
Too much attention to detail on the physiques of the characters while their skin is almost just a 2 clour gradient.. no blemishes, no realistic features..
Need for speed most wanted : Looked and ran alot better on my AMD 3200+ pc than it did on the 360.. nuff-said.
And the good parts! (sinze frozen threatened to ban me if i didnt do this.... not really but yeah )
Gun : Looks really nice, relatively good selection of music and some intense moments to get the blood pumping, realistic environments, but not enough angry beavers! :P
Perfect Dark Zero : Fun and easy to get into, likable main character with an attitude you can identify with as you work your way through the game, some really nice guns (uzi with special thermal mode to see the enemies in red, can even fire rapidly whilst in zoom!), additionally sexy guns like the shockwave allow you to not only see peoples skeletons, but nail them to the background heh.
Project Gotham Racing : Really realistic graphics, realistic sounds (if you have a decent sound system), a nice wide selection of music from indian bangra to classical and modern rock tracks, nice tracks and detailed car models, nice unfussy handling thats easy to get used to.
Ridge Racer 6 : It's fast as hell, and it's ridge racer.
Kameo : honestly, i have no real comment to make on this game, i only owned it for 3 days because i could not stand the main character at all, and i almost felt embarrased to play it when someone else was in the room :/
Condemned : Nice lighting, nice audio and SOME unique aspects such as scaning/investigating crime scenes, chavvy enemies you will enjoy beating down with various sections of pipe and door frame, the flashlight has no batteries (yey), and it has a storyline! (something alot of 360 games lack).
Dead or alive 4 : Ayane is in it, you must buy it
Need for speed most wanted : its fun to run from cops, but just don't do it in real life okay?
Don't get me wrong, theyre all relatively good games which will appeal to their respective genre fans, i just find them below par for a system which is meant to be 'next generation'.
