Also, seeing that official wired controller on Play.com for only £18 has calmed me down a lot. I really want a 360 now and I suppose a hard drive, headset and a controller upgrade isn't too bad for £70. Considering PS2 memory cards used to cost £30 its not a bad deal at all.
got some new news ppl. The play and charger kit is only £13 on play.com and it includes the wire and the battery!!!!.

A music festival mainly featuring rock/indie and alt. bands. Wow, its been quite an hour or two. From being really chuffed to be really depressed to now being quite pleased. I don't really want to preorder until I see some good deals are offered, I learned to do that with my DS.
it was alot of confusion they didnt go into great detail so people had no idea what was going on with all these accessries. Turns out most of them are exras or backups.
I don't know why i just dont like to preorder. I like going to a store that that sells video game stuff, but one one know they do since they're mostly into hardware and buy it there, preorders aren't my thing.Zitat:

the thing about the harddrive is since these are next gen games we don't know who big the saves might be. some might be smalle while other might be huge. And DLC will requiree a hard drive.Zitat:

The 64mb card is for casual gamers, just like the no HD is. These ppl wont have lots and lots of games. Look at the original psx you could only have 15 games. But this was enough for the casual person. If your going to play lots of games get the hard drive one.

And I see no way of just "modding it and putting xbmc on it" being possible.
Im hoping you'd know that XBMC is completely compiled for the XBOX.
So what games are you planning to get for it?
I'm not really seeing anything available at launch that's making me think I need to rush out and be the first :)
With the exception of maybe Perfect Dark (which is probably questionable since we haven't seen or heard much on it)
PGR - Not quite a system seller and might not be ready in time
Other than those two I don't really see anything that looks like a must have game to warrent a new system purchase at this time. It really just looks like more of the same typical (fun for a couple days) rushed launch lineup. Nothing along the lines of a Halo launch titile.
I'm just curious of course what everyone plans on doing with this beast of a system?

I can't see a manager game being too much of a problem for the 360 with the huge amount of RAM the console has. The only games I know of that needs a HDD are Oblivion and FFXIIZitat:
