Can't be that bad. I use to play UT, and UT2K4 all the time with as many peeps possible and i was nearly always able to walk more then 2 steps before facing death. With them war/anti-terrorist games, I usually face death more frequently though, I get impatient and do foolishness n die. And no I don't try to implement UT2K4 tactics into games like CS lol. That would explain why some people die so easily. STK... re-think your tactics and maybe you won't get shot 49 times. ;)Zitat:

I agree, Goldeneye Perfect Dark and the Timsplitters series have far superior multiplayer modes than Halo. Halo is boring and stale and brings nothing new to the table, Perfect Dark Zero actually tries to progress the genre rather than take it sideways.Zitat:

I've been meaning to bring that question up... Why does no body talk about Timesplitters when talking about great games??? Hell, even when talking about FPS's... Timesplitters (Future Perfect more specifically) has a great story (i'm a sucker for time travel... Favorite Book: the Time Machine, Favorite Movie(S): the Back to the Future trilogy... Maybe I have a bias... I don't care)... It has great game play, and even though I havn't had a chance to play it online, even playing mulitplayer with bots is really fun... I love how you meet past version of Cortez through-out the game... That's one of my favorite parts in the gimmick of Time Travel... Seriously, I don't think I've played many games as engrossing, and dare I say it, FUN, as this one...
I need to pick up the other Timesplitter games 1 & 2... 3 was superb, and it apears that Radical just knows how to make great games (apparently, Second Sight is also really good)...

Well Free Radical is made up of ex-Rare employees, specifically most of the Goldeney and Perfect Dark team, that's why the multiplayer rules so much. You should really pick up the first two as they are both excellent (in multiplayer atleast), no game is more fun than four players around the same TV on Timsplitters. Number 1 was a launch title, but it still holds up as one of the PS2's best multiplayer games today.Zitat:

If you're finding it hard to get a preorder then just buy one on the day from a non-gaming shop. These places don't take preorders so you can just walk in on launch day. In the UK, WHSmiths and Asda are good and in the US Best Buy should sort you out, or you can always preorder a core! :ROFL:

To a casual gamer all they see is an extra $100 for a big memory card they don't think they need. They can play Halo 3 on the core so why spend an extra $100 for something they don't see the advantage of.
