the only way i would get this is if i had the money and i would resell practically every item in there...even the tv. i would only keep the console, face plate, 2 controllers (and their batteries) and maybe 3 games. the rest of it would be on ebay really quick
i already know what my setup is going to look like, and it will blow compared to everyone else's. so i'll just look at the pics and envy you allZitat:

Wow if mirosoft were to release that they would be done. The xbox's games were really lackluster aside from halo and i can definately see the 360 being the same way.

Conker was great until you tried multiplayer...and single player was just a remake of the original.

Halo is something we'll ship when it's ready."
Makes more sense, but seeing Sony combat the Master Chief on the same day would have been a bloody battlefield worth placing bets on.

I work for a large electrical retailer here in the UK. I had an interesting conversion with the MS rep yesterday. The MS rep came in to educate the staff on the 360. He basically went through the capabilitys of the machine and gave us a preview of the advert that will be shown on TV around launch. I asked him for a copy of the advert so I could set it on loop and try to drum up some more pre-orders. Here's the strange part.. he told me that they didn't want loads of preorders. Instead they want them on the shelves at christmas. So I asked him what the stock is going to be like around launch, he said the factorys have been pumping them out 24/7. He said the stock levels should be ok for christmas, but after christmas they will be like rocking horse ****.
So from what I can figure out, they are limiting pre-orders to stores but should be supplying lots of "shelves stock". Don't quote me on any of this, I personally think if you don't preorder you will be lucky to get one before christmas. I just hope the 360 launch will go better than the PSP launch(we've had 10 units in since the preorders have been fufilled).

But realy, with the diffrences there were between HALO 1 and HALO 2 I don't think Bunge is looking at any release dates. They probably want to improve the game as much as they can.
But also it's Bill Gates, he could probably make Bunge release HALO 3 at the same time as PS3.
With how long Halo2 took, I wouldn't expect to see Halo 3 for atleast 2 year... Which is fine... I've never been against delays... If delaying the game will give me a better product, then so be it...
We'll bungie really only spent 9 months on the core of Halo 2. Because if you look at them preparing the demo for e3 03 they just made that from scratch and never used that engine again. They had all the models for everything they just made Halo 1 engine look pretty and added a different HUD and really big levels and screwed up the gameplay by adding auto-aim and the smgZitat:
