For the PS2 I went 3 hrs before they gave out vouchers at Worst Buy. (5 hrs before the store opened and I didn't get anything) I did find one later on that day though.
The Xbox I went 3hrs before and I did get one from Worst Buy.
It really depends on the store and location you live, toys R us is usually a good place to wait and sometimes target most people save them for the end :)
On Xbox day I went to target on my lunch hour and they still had 6 left...so I bought 4 and put them on ebay :)
^Exactly! I thought it was the best back then, but looking back, I realized there were only 2 games I ever wanted in the launch window, DOA2 and SSX. Atleast the 360 has about 5 or 6 titles on my mind.
Yeah, I'll be opening the box and playing with it before I go to work.

Well mine is paid off already and i have to work that day so im sending one of my boys there with my recipt to go and pick it up if he can, if not ill have to try to pick it up when i get home from work but i am not sure if they will even have any left when i go.
Now that i think about it i might have to go to work late that day and be there first thing to see if i can get mine early, if i do that ill prob bring it to work and show it off to the Engineering team here at work. They loved it when i brought in my PSP on launch day. The manager allowed the whole team to have a short 45 min meeting with me in the conference room so they couldall see it.
I work for a .com just incase anyone was wondering, and the bosses here are pretty nice ppl so they let stuff like that slide.

it will be behing your tv so who cares anybody who dosent buy the 360 becuase of that is freaking retarted. By the way thats the powersupply so having it outside the case makes it lighter and use less cooling power to cool the console so in the end there is no real down point to having a big power adapter.

Do you mean laptop power supply? As that is very slimline compared to a PC power supply. A PC power supply is the big boxy looking thing usually at the top of the inside of the case. They are huge. Unless you have a Shuttle PC as they have smaller, less powerful ones to save space.Zitat:

LOOK. the cords plugged into the front are CLEARLY thinner that the corts on the power supply, and there are TWO of them. also, the USB specifications only call for 5 volts of power and there is no way in hell the 360 runs on 5 volts(or even 10 volts by combining the two ports).

Those are the wired controllers comeing out of the usb ports. The power supply will be plugged in the back. That should be obvious...
Lol dude, Have you looked at any cord recently, they all have a thicker piece at the beginning, that gradually gets thinner...

and anway even it it was coming from there NO system as powerful as a 360 could sustain power just from USB 2.0 ports since they only have 5- 9 volts.. and not the 300 + volts for a 360 (estamate)
