I thought they wanted Xbox360 to succeed in Japan. No one can fit an Xbox360 in their living rooms let alone a power supply the size of a dead moose.

When is the last time you noticed how massive the Xbox is? The average Japanese gamer doesn't want to set something down on his coffee table, when the thing he's setting down on it is 2 times as large as the table.

I really don't understand why MS changed their approach with Xbox360. Early on they said it would be bigger than a PSTwo but smaller than a PS2. Yet when it was unveiled, it was another tank. I really don't understand the fascination with big hulking machinery. It's not a question of not being able to fit big things in small packages, because Japanese companies don't seem to have that problem. They continuously wonder why they can't grab the Japanese market. Size, hard for even me to understand, is one of the factors.

LOL I dont really care either, it does look pretty funny tough.

Are you high? So ppl won't buy a console a lit bit smaller than the current xbox but they bought a big PS2 which is a little bit smaller then the xbox.

Even Microsoft has seen the error of their ways. They released the controller S and did away the behemoth, they gave the X360 the ability to stand vertically, and they reduced the weight by 5 grams. It still is not enough, because the X360 is almost exactly the same size as the Xbox.

Well the expo was ok, the ticket price ($15) was too high for what they had. They had no info on the sk3, they only had the 2 colored (. They had this nokia phone that was 9,000. It comes with a gps that when u activate it they will have reps cater to your needs no matter what it is or where u are.
Now for the video games, they had a lot of xbox & nintendo titles. Mario soccer looked fun, they presented it on a nice plasma tv. They had a couple titles I haven't seen before. Jaws, Spartan, shadow the hedgehog.
They had a quak4 tournament and a mini tournament w/ battlefield 2.
King kong was actually good, even though the xbox version ( not x360) was the only playable version. it was odd playing an fps that didn't have a HUD.

Jaws was fun. Its made by the same people who did ecco the dolphin.
Nice,peaceful underwater landscape until your character (Jaws the shark) comes in and eats anything that moves.

Spartan was pretty slick. I didn't get the details of who u supposed to be and your objective, but equipped w/ a sword and shield ur character can take on  to 30 characters at a time.

I didn't play Shadow the Hedgehog but it looked like the last version that was on the dreamcast.

Most of yall played or seen nba2k6,madden and nhl 06 already. I haven't seen nba2k6  close until today and it looked an actual live feed of an nba game.

the presentation for the x360 was very compact. They used its setup to show more of the M$ media center. The graphics for the x360 titles that we see online and in magazines pale in comparison to viewing them in person. Nba2k6 was amazing, pgr3 was crisp. They had a few ingame video loops playing on various monitors. Whomever thought x360 was whack is dead wrong the graphics alone is enough to put 400 down easy.
The pics don't really show the size of the console too well but they are standing on a silver platform. The entire console is no bigger than the
ps2 (original), even w/ the added HD.

No the measurements are about a half inch all around smaller than Xbox :)

The chrome looks nice and the style is a lot better than the normal xbox.

The whole chrome thing doesnt really bother me. Although I wish the bezel was replacable and extra ones came with the faceplates so it would match better.

It's really not possible I don't think. USB 2.0 can't transfer power levels of that capacity.

I dont like the size of it, but i will have to suck it up and deal with it.

Well as long as they don't connect with usb, which as everyone says is impossible, it'll be fine to me

The power will plug into the back, like every game machine before it. Why on earth would they put it up front....

There have been no adverts/commercials/billboards/signs nothing to do with these 2 systems anywhere........suX! to be us

man...well just buy it from usa...or somehwere in europe...then just buy game from them...

It appears that the box is more then just a power supply...

I was hearing rumors about that box supplying power, and also gathering information from the 360, like debugging information, its stored off system so that a total failure wouldn't result in loss of data...
