I'm buying the Xbox 360, and I really like it, and I have to agree with him... The Xbox 360 launch is no more impressive than past system launches... I'm not even interested in half of those games... And Microsoft does put out alot of shooters (They are a PC company)... Nothing he said is all that fabricated (except for the "hunk of junk" comment)...Zitat:

Only specified games. The XBOX 360 has to emulate each game and thus each must be coded for within 360 I think...been a while since I've seen exact wording and reasoning. Only a few will be playable at first (mainly the top XBL games)

Well, think about it. If a system launches only with every good game that would ever come out for it (which would be the perfect launch) then it would be boring. You can forget about anticipating the next great game because it would already be out, and the rest would be crap. The way Microsoft put it makes sense. Not having a bunch of great games out on day one means that they won't compete with each other, and a great game ending up selling like crap because there are other games that would be better. Launch games are what they are, launch games. They are usually a developers first stab at developing for a system. And usually a game thats only been in production for 9 months to a year, depending on when they get dev kits. So don't ***** about lackluster launches, every system has them...

Well, if it's good 2.1, it'll simulate 5.1... It's obviously not as good, but it's better than two Cheap stock PC speakers... I've got 600 Watt 2.1 speakers... I've got each speaker on each of my sides, and the subwoffer right in front of me... It sounds great... And if you don't have atleast 2.1, it'll really take away from the experience... But yeah, 5.1 or 7.1 would of coarse be better... I'm probably going to upgrade that soon... CoD 2 will be unbeleavable then...Zitat:

Quite a few of the games are getting delayed, morrowind, and rumors of many more including kameo, PGR 3, and somthing else...
I wonder how they will be taking care of these delays...not like the systems but like, will they refund them or just send it when they get it?
^ You should always be able to get a refund on a preorder, in theory anyway...
Kameo will not be delayed, infact it was heavily rumoured that the game went gold nearly two months ago and in many interviews Rare have said it'll be a day one game. I think PGR3 will probably make it aswell and if PDZ makes it then, historically speaking this is an excellent launch. COD2, PGR3, Kameo, ,Condemned and PDZ are all top drawer games, add them to decent games like Quake 4 and DOA4, and throw in a variety of sports games and there can be no complaints. Honestly, I don't know of any launches that have had this many consistantly good games.
